The Last Resort Motel: Room Ten

Review: The Last Resort Motel - Book #2 - Room Ten - Crystal Perkins - February 2018

Now that Aurora has a Max, the pair of them have been busy rebuilding her parent's hotel back to the amazing place it was before her parent's let it go and passed away. They have re-opened the restaurant and had a few customers. In Book # 2, Room #10 will be open to Devin and Devon who are tech-startup millionaires and obsessed with the supernatural and ghost hunting. Needing a weekend away as lately their relationship has been a tad rocky; the pair picks this place as the name draws them in and also what better place for a ghost to hang out than somewhere called "The Last Resort Motel." Max is anti-ghosts and doesn't believe in the supernatural, and as far as Aurora knows living here most of her life, her parents never mentioned once about ghosts or stories. The cleaner does warn them about waking bad spirits, and the group shrugs it off. What will happen next is that when they head down to the Mines which Max warned them off, they will become possessed and pick up some nasty ghosts who have unfinished business with Max and Aurora. We will later learn that these were the ghosts of the guys that were trying to harm Max and Aurora in the first novel. Can the two Dev's prove to Max and Aurora that ghosts are real and in spending time here together, will this help them with their relationship as lately things have been feeling uncertain for the Dev's futures together?
Find out in #Room Ten which took more of a supernatural route compared to #Room One which was contemporary romantic suspense. I am now looking forward to reading Book #3 Room 519 and seeing where that book leads us.
